Kitchen Cabinet Painting Denver, gives your hardest working kitchen and bathroom cabinets a fresh new look
Your kitchen cabinets are the hardest working part in your home. Their design and functionality make them fit like an old friend. That’s how these clients felt about their kitchen. But, like you, they wanted a change in the look and finish. That’s when kitchen cabinet refacing makes sense.
What’s really in your Colorado cabinet?
While your cabinets may have a wood pattern, chances are they may actually be built from plywood, particle board or medium-density fibreboard—also known as MDF—with a laminate veneer. It’s a workable solution for the budget-conscious. But, ultimately, MDF in particular breaks down because of how it’s made.
Back in the 80’s, rising hardwood prices led to development of MDF. It’s made from residuals of hard and softwoods (also known as scraps and sawdust) combined with a wax or resin binder to form panels. Chances are you have MDF somewhere in your Colorado home.
Kitchen Cabinet Painting Denver, makes change affordable
Instead of tearing out cabinet boxes, existing counters and backsplashes, kitchen cabinet painting on existing cabinet boxes can make a huge difference. Kitchen Cabinet Painting, means a new look and higher-quality cabinet doors and drawers—plus updated hardware such as Blum precision hinges and soft-close drawer guides. It also offers a more permanent solution for worn out cabinets. Keep in mind, however, many cabinets are not good candidates without the expert advice here at Kitchen Cabinet Painting Denver. We can help with that evaluation.
Kitchen Cabinet Painting Denver removes and disposes of the existing finish by sanding all areas of the doors, drawers and cabinet bases. Then, we apply a all new custom color of your choosing, solid wood doors and drawer fronts and new plywood drawer boxes in our in-house custom cabinet shop. Once complete, our craftsmen apply finishing materials by sprayer instead of brush, resulting in a higher quality, smooth finish without brush marks.
We then custom paint all solid wood “skin” to overlay on your existing frames with material that’s thicker and more durable than original finishes, allowing for refinishing as necessary in complementing existing fixtures.
New look for old friends
Once painted you get the benefits of new cabinetry from the outside with the cabinet painting finish and functionality you already appreciate. Or, perhaps upgraded functionality.
